"Tough City" now available on iTunes
After months of campaigning and voting, Canadians selected the places across the nation they wanted to see immortalized in song and the singer-songwriters they wanted to write those songs. Of the 13 provinces and territories, Suzie was chosen to represent Beautiful British Columbia and write a song about Tofino. CBC Radio 2's The Great Canadian Song Quest finally revealed all 13 songs on November 23rd including Suzie's song, "Tough City". You can hear samples of all the songs on CBC's website or download the tracks directly from iTunes.

To read up on the making of the song, check out the interview with Suzie in the Westerly (Tofino's newspaper).

CBC Radio 2's The Great Canadian Song Quest
Oh Susanna has been chosen to participate in CBC Radio 2's The Great Canadian Song Quest. From October 12-23, Canadians will choose the place they want written about from their home province/territory and the singer/songwriter from that region they'd like to write about it. Each artist will compose and record an original song, inspired by the locations chosen by Canadians from each province and territory. Suzie is on the short list of songwriters from British Columbia so now we need your help to get her voted in! You can vote for both Suzie and your favourite location ONCE each day. To start voting, click here.
